全自动旋光仪是测定物质旋光度的仪器。通过对样品旋光度的测定，可以确定样品的浓度、纯度、糖度或含量。

Autopol IV是一个带内置微处理器的全自动旋光仪，它在Autopol II、III的基础上增加了强大的软硬件功能：可同时测得光学旋转度（Optical Rotation）、比旋光度（Specific Rotation）及浓度；特殊样品测定程序；大型LCD显示；温度显示及校正；自动测量波长选择；统计功能；RS232及并行打印接口。
